AGM batteries are characterized by an internal structure based on fiberglass separators where the electrolyte is concentrated. The separators are placed between the lead plates inside the battery’s energy cartridge. An additional feature of this type of battery is the overpressure protection system. The valves open when the pressure is too high inside the battery, allowing the safe release of gas from the casing to prevent damage. This can occur when the battery is recharged. The battery casing is made of corrosion-resistant ABS material.
