MC4 Type Fuse

The MC4 15A 1000V DC fuse is specially designed for photovoltaic systems. This fuse is used in photovoltaic systems and is mounted on the cable for the + (positive) polarity, and optionally also on the – (negative). The material from which this fuse is made is a high-quality plastic, weather-resistant, IP67, and UV rays. In addition to simple installation, the MC4 fuse has increased resistance against high current tensions. The construction material is insulating – Polyphenoloxidases (PPO). The maximum voltage in use is 1000V (TUV), and the test voltage is 8000V (TUV / 50Hz / 1min). The contact material is pure copper, which has increased resistance for contact.
